    Asked by Rai.

    • Answer No, the AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED Telephoto Zoom Lens is not compatible with the Nikon D3200 Digital SLR Camera. The D3200 is not compatible with AF-P type lenses as they use a new electromagnetic focusing system that the D3200 cannot communicate with. Asked by Sunnie.

    • Answer You may want to look into the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR. It will be more expensive, but it offers a much wider range to it as well as Vibration Reduction to help you get those action shots.

  • QuestionIs compatible with Nikon 5300

    Asked by Jemontero.

    • Answer The Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED Telephoto Zoom is compatible with the Nikon D5300 but will have the following limitation when used with that camera model: "lens focus ring can not be disabled when in autofocus mode". This means that when you are in autofocus mode on the D5300 you will not be able to disable the focus ring on the lens. For fully compatible lenses for the D5300 camera look into AF-S type lenses.
