QuestionDoes the Auto FOcus work on Nikon D60?i have a Nikon D60 Camera and i am trying to find a good long distance lens for a bull riding compatition my boyfriend is going to be in. the lens i currently have doesn't have auto focus so I need a lens that will work and have auto focus for the D60. is this the lens to buy?

- Answer This lens may work but i have noticed that it is extremely slow in focusing compared to the kit lens 18-105mm that came with the D7000.

QuestionBest lens for D3000?I am looking to purchase a Zoom Lens for My D3000. I take action shots at rodeos and take softball pictures. What is the best lens for me? Taking pictures on auto on my camera they appear to be real dark. Do I need and external flash? If so what kind and how big? Thanks.

- Answer Best if you go for Nikon AF-S 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 VR ($500 range). For the lens, I would suggest the SB-600. BestBuy still sells them.

QuestionCan you hear the auto focus with this lense when taking video (D3100)?I own the Nikon D3100, the standard lense is noticeably loud while taking video. I'm curious if the Silent Wave Motor is quiet while focusing.

- Answer I have used three lenses with the D7000 both in video and picture mode. They are: 35mm f/1.8G; 18-105mm kit lens; and the 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6 lens. I did notice all three have different noise level during its auto focus operation. The loudest being the 55-300mm while the kit lens is just barely noticeable and the 35mm is truly silent. I am not really sure why but this is my observation.

- Answer The Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Telephoto Zoom lens is completely compatible with the Nikon D5500 DSLR camera. This all-in-one, super telephoto has Nikon VR (Vibration Reduction) image stabilization to provide 3.0 stops of blur-free hand-held shooting so images are dramatically sharper and vivid. The Nikon D5500 is completely compatible with AF-S, A-F and E-types lenses. This camera also has limited compatibility with Nikon AI and AF-type lenses; these types of lenses will have to be manually focused as this camera body does not have a built-in motor.

- Answer My D40 died I wore it out. I upgraded to a 5500 and what a difference. I was able to use my old leneses on the 5500 with now issues. So the 300 should work for you.

- Answer This is not a fisheye lens, it's a telephoto. It works well with my D3000. Go to your local store and mount on your camera to see if it fits, it should. If unsure how to change the lens yourself, google it. There's a nice video on how to change your lenses correct.
