The COOLPIX L840 does not include the option to manually select your shutter speed or aperture, the camera will select these for you based on your other settings. When shooting in Auto Mode (not Scene Auto Selector), you can select your ISO sensitivity settings by accessing the Shooting Menu and navigating to ISO Sensitivity. See page 83 of the COOLPIX L840 Reference Manual for more information on adjusting your ISO.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This camera is a Coolpix. It does not have a manual mode for aperture and speed as it is a fixed lens. There is an adjustment for exposure compensation. There are adjustments for ISO that you can make. There are a lot of adjustments that you can make for just about everything, but it isn't a DSLR. If you want to see what it does and its capabilities, go to nikonusa.com and search for the camera and its manual/reference guide.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe those settings are guided by the scene selection. I have not come across any ability to set those up manually.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ISO settings can be changed, but only in the AUTO mode. Select Camera (the separate button with camera icon on it. Scroll down (using the button under the OK button) to AUTO and press OK button. Press MENU button. Scroll to ISO sensitivity (it will only be there in AUTO mode). Scroll right (the button to the right of OK) and then choose the ISO setting you want.
