• No. The WiFi links to mobile devices though a downloadable app, allows remote viewing and controlling of a pic (like, set the camera up in the corner of a room, view what the camera sees, trigger the shutter - potentially cool). Unclear why there is no comparable app for a Mac/PC laptop.

• supposedly but I could not make it work. Downloaded software to computer but camera could not recognize it. Probably my error but instructions were poor.
