• The Nikon COOLPIX P610 digital camera does have an option to to charge the camera through a computer. Start by going into the camera’s Auto Mode menu and changing the “Charge By” option to “Charge By Computer”. Connect the camera to a running computer using the UC-E21 USB cable. The camera will turn on for charging and will turn off once charging is complete. It takes approximately 5 hours to charge a fully exhausted battery.
