- A:Answer GPS data on the Nikon COOLPIX S9900 includes only the longitude and latitude of the place where you were when you took the image; you will not see names of sites, cities or countries. GPS information is not displayed on the actual image but is, instead, imbedded in the image metadata, which can be accessed by using a software program.
