The D3300 should not be operated in temperatures that are above 122 °F (50 °C) or below 14 °F (–10 °C ). In addition the battery should be charged at ambient temperatures 41 °F–95 °F. The battery should not be used below 32 degrees as the performance of the battery will be reduced. As far as operating in very bright light conditions, the camera will adjust it's aperture and shutter settings to accommodate those conditions, provided you have the camera set to one of the automatic exposure modes (Program, Shutter-Priority, or Aperture-Priority Auto).
