The COOLPIX L840 has built-in WIFI that works directly with the Nikon Wireless Mobile Utility APP available for FREE download off the App Store. Once you have the APP downloaded, you can connect directly to the camera. The APP will enable you to view the pictures on your camera's SD card, choosing which pictures to download to your iPhone (or iPad) or directly on to social media sites. In addition, the APP will enable you to control the cameras shutter. So, that means, you can use your phone to trigger the camera and take pictures.
