The Nikon SC-28 TTL Coiled Remote Cord is compatible with the Nikon D5300, as well as various Nikon speedlights, and connects to the camera via the hot shoe. The other end of this cord has a 1/4" (ISO 1222) socket. Nikon can not offer support or advice for third party products. It is suggested that you contact the the bracket manufacturer for more information regarding compatibility.
