Hello, We would like to inform you that this system does not have a built in grinder. It is not compatible with pods. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Ninja Coffee Bar doesn't use K-cups, however it does make single cups using the permanent filter. You use a couple of scoops of coffee of your choice using the provided scoop. It makes kind of a hybrid cappuccino. It makes a 4 oz super strong shot. There are plenty of recipes online for many specialty coffee drinks either hot or cold. I've loved it so far, trying all different things. Hope this helps
