• A:Answer Power cord is approximately 2 feet long. That will get you to a plug in a overhead cabinet no problem or a wall plug within that distance. If you must have a distance longer than that then your options are to use an extension cord (not personally recommend) or have a outlet put in closer to where you want the appliance to be.

Q: QuestionMessage 3 how long it takes to totally shut down. Last night I tried a piece of toast which was on for 4 minutes and it still took over an hour to totally shut down. The whole time electric is running, this has to be a defected machine. Please reply

• A:Answer Did you make sure you press the power button (off) after cooking? I usually press power and then after 20 mins I unplug it. If the machine is still on after unplugging the machine I would then return it back asap.

Q: QuestionIn regards to the previous question where after initial start up it took an additional one hour and a half to totally shut off, I didn't have it near a wall and was open on all side in AC home. Should it take this long without actually cooking anything?

Q: QuestionI just purchased the SP101 and did the set up as stated to make sure all smells are gone for the 20 minutes, It ran the 20 minutes and then took an additional 1 hr and 20 to fully have the fan shut off, Something seems to be wrong before we even use it

• A:Answer We are sorry to hear of this experience. To ensure that the system is properly ventilated we suggest that you do not have it placed directly against a wall. The fan will run until the unit has cooled therefore, if the temperature in the room is higher it will take longer to cool.
