- Answer Hello, We are happy to confirm that the Ninja® Mega Kitchen System® 72-Oz. Blender will crush ice. We recommend that you use ice fresh from the freezer. Do not use partially melted ice. Ice that has had time to melt a little is less effective as it becomes melted into one block. Start with a few pulses and then go to a continuous blending cycle. We hope this information helps.
