Can it be used to grind spices? null

Depends. We grind wheatberries which are very, very hard, and it's no problem, but if you are jamming big sticks of cinnamon into it, that might be a problem for the motor. I would break things down to a certain degree before putting into the blender so you don't jamm agd stop the motor mechanism which would in turn burn the electrical circuit and you would smell the electrical burn. That would kill any electric motor. Chop things down so the motor can rotate freely and this thing rocks!!
