• A:Answer When using the SMOKER function, you can add more pellets once the first batch has fully burned. Press and hold the Woodfire Flavor Technology button for 3 seconds to ignite new full box of pellets. To run back-to-back smoking sessions, we recommend refilling the smoke box using the pellet scoop when half the pellets have burned. DO NOT refill more than 1 or 2 times. DO NOT reignite pellets.

Q: QuestionOn the smoker selection the ignite symbol lit up but pellets did not burn and no smoke while smoking a pork butt for 6 hours. Can you tell me why?

• A:Answer I don’t have an answer, but that did happen to me the first time I used it to smoke a beef tenderloin. Since it was new, I didn’t realize there was no smoke coming out like it should have been. The only thing I could think of was maybe I packed the pellets in too tightly and they couldn’t ignite.I haven’t had the problem since that first time.
