- Answer Yes! This NEW 2DS XL can play all of the old and NEW 3DS games as well as most old DS games.

QuestionSo I already have a Nintendo New 3DS, and a Nintendo Switch. I'm really interested in getting a 2ds XL. Do you think I should go for it? I really hate the small non-IPS screen of new 3DS and it' super bulky and heavy. Is the 2DS XL worth it?

- Answer It is. I’ve had the all of Nintendo handhelds and I love this one. It’s lighter than the new 3ds XL and has all of the same features sans 3D ( more of a gimmick anyway). The one and only drawback I saw was the textured top my inhibit skins from skinit if you’re into that sorta thing. Just make sure it’s gonna but worth it for you to downgrade. If it is... enjoy.
