I believe I saw in one of the articles published about this model that it is the newer one with better battery. I forget which article, but it zoomed in on the serials and IDs on the back and confirmed it was consistent with the newer batteries.

It’s a new console so it’s probably the new one. and judging by pictures on other sites if you zoom in on the back the switch does have the special serial code that denotes a V2 switch

yes it is version2, if you look up photos you can see on the back for yourself that it is v2.
