• Yes, it will update to Android 9 Pie as soon as you set it up. It was quick and easy. Note, Pie does not allow you to delete the Google Search Bar on home screens.

• Yes it does. Best Buy lists the specs of the phone when it's first released and leaves it like that. This phone WILL get Android Q in Fall 2019.
