It does incorporate a fair amount of glue in its fabrication. I would avoid submersing it in water, but casual washing hands shouldn’t be a problem. Dry it right away as it is prone to retaining odors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have worked out with it and have gotten sweat on it to the point where the strap is moist. It took a couple of days to dry it off and it went back to normal use, but I would definitely not submerge my strap in water or use it in the shower.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this band and love it. Hold up really well. I’ve treated with my leather boot conditioner a couple times. Would definitely buy it again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had to deal with torrential downpours multiple times this month and it has held up well and kept looking great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey Nick! Our Nomad straps are not waterproof, so we do not recommend fully submerging it in water. If you would like to clean it, a gentle, damp cloth will do the trick. The leather will look worn in and weathered (in a very good way) in time. Untreated leather will patina quicker than treated leathers, and leather conditioner will only darken the strap quicker. If you have more questions regarding the specific care of your Nomad product, you can visit our FAQ page here: https://help.hellonomad.com/ or email me at [email protected]. Best, Chloe
