- Answer you can replace the current pedals (strap) to clip if you would like.. they use standard pedal thread, so if you buy clip pedals just unscrew the ones on machine and screw in clip ones

QuestionI am looking to buy an nordictract S22i but the seller says the resistance isn’t working? Is there any ideas on what the fix for this could be Thanks

- Answer I actually bought this bike about 2 months ago. My wife rode it 3 times and the resistance stopped working as well as the incline/decline stopped working. (The resistance was stuck on a very high level where we could hardly turn the pedals) Since it was obviously still under warranty I called Nordictract and they said it the small electronic control board that controls everything on the bike needed to be replaced. They shipped it to me for free and I had it in about 4 or 5 days. If your handy and have worked on mechanical things it's fairly simple to take out the old one and install the new one. You have to disassemble some things to get to it but then it's pretty easy. If you don't have any experience or are not handy mechanically I would suggest you get someone who is. Through the process I did learn that it's not uncommon for this to happen and the problem was solved when I replaced the board. Since our bike was under warranty I do not know the cost of the board should you need to purchase it. Other than this issue, we have very happy with the bike. Hope that helps and best of luck.

QuestionWhen will Best Buy begin to sell the new model of the S22i (NTEX02121)? It has been available from NordicTrack for a while, but Best Buy is still selling the older model which has some issues....

- Answer I am very disappointed I called BB and asked if I would be shipped the 2021 model. I was told yes but revieved the 2017 model. I refused delivery since the 2021 model is the same price elsewhere.

QuestionIf I already have an iFit membership will the free year that comes with the bike be added on to the end of the existing membership or will it run concurrently? I ask because my understanding is that you can use the iFit membership on two or more machines

- Answer I have a Polar "connected" via bluetooth to the s22i. you need to get the bike in admin mode (tap the screen 10 times, wait 5 seconds, then tap 10 more times)

QuestionWhat is the return policy?

- Answer My understanding is the return policy is the same for most Best Buy purchases which is 30 days or 45 days if you are an Elite member. I own the product and was having an issue with the magnetic resistance not working. Best Buy offered me the option to return the cycle and we began the process. The Geek Squad was literally in my driveway to pick up the cycle when I powered up he cycle one last time to make certain the issue with the magnetic resistance still existed. I fired it up and checked for updates. There was an update available so I updated the program. I then checked whether the magnetic resistance was working and to my surprise it was. I had updated a couple of times prior and it still wasn’t functioning properly. I don’t know if it was coincidence or if the update corrected the problem. I do know that now that the mag resistance is working I truly love the cycle.

- Answer It comes with the Bike. It will look like a credit card. It will have a code on it and when you turn on your bike and start entering the information it will ask for it.

- Answer I think BB stopped the assembly with COVID-19 stuff. The bike was fairly easy to assemble. Took less than an hour to put it together.

- Answer Yes.....pedals are easily replaced. I replaced mine with a set of Shimanos clip on one side regular on the other.

QuestionCan I connect a heart sensor that's ANT+ or bluetooth compatible to this bike?

- Answer I got a Polar around the chest HR monitor that supposedly will connect to the iFit app via Bluetooth. Well, I has not been able to figure it out, yet. It looks like the S22i doesn’t has Bluetooth built in. iFit sells its own brand that they advertise as it works automatically with the app on board the S22i. I use the Polar app I have downloaded on my phone and gives me all the info I need.

- Answer Mine came on a pallet in two boxes the dimensions were approximately 3 feet by 4 feet and five feet tall.

QuestionWhat is the best mat so the bike doesn't rock??? We have carpet.

- Answer Mom The overall measurement for this bike is 22” wide by 60” long. The stronger the mat, the more stable your bike would be over cushioned carpet. The mats on nordictrack.com measure 36”x72” or 40”x80” but are somewhat thin. They are meant to protect the floor more than stabilize equipment. The cycling unit should not rock. - Answer Winnie When you are finished exercising, unplug the power cord. If you do not do this, the electrical components of the studio cycle may wear prematurely. - Answer Matt We do not recommend using the equipment on a converter. It is best to purchase a treadmill designed for the power in the market for which they are used. This unit will not work in Europe without heavy modification.
