You do not have to continue buying ifit. There are programs that work without ifit subscription. My personal view is that I should not skip the $30 a month membership fee if I am serious enough to invest $5000 in this machine.

If you choose to cancel your subscription, you can do so anytime. After the subscription is canceled, there are limited workouts available to try out, but you can no longer access the full iFIT library. To access these limited workouts, sign out of your iFIT membership on your machine and then choose "use in manual mode only” in the upper right corner.
