Vince We do our best to design our products to be easily assembled by our customers when the unit arrives at their home. Our NordicTrack VU 19 can be assembled 19 easy to follow steps. You will need to screw on the front and rear stabilizers as well as attaching the console and seat to the base of the unit. We do recommend having another person available to assist with the assembly process. You will need one Phillips screwdriver and one adjustable wrench to assemble this bike, all other tools are included with this unit. Assembly took about 1 1/2 hours.

You will need a phillips screw driver. I took me about 2 hours. I had my wife assist with holding the touch screen while I attached it to the frame. 1 person could do it but a second made it much easier. Someone with basic skill should have no problem.
