“I have a MacBook Pro 15" 2017 3.1 GHz, (Four Thunderbolt 3 ports) Quad Core i7 laptop running Catalina. Is this graphics card compatible with that if used with a T3 graphics card enclosure? If not, what is the fastest that I can use. Thanks”

I don't see why not. If a driver is available, and I believe it is, there should be no problems. I'd wait until after Sep 17 to buy however as Nividia is releasing their latest cards then and this card is sure to drop in price then also.
