A:Answer I don't know if it's random or not, but I got a notification from NowInStock on a Tuesday around 11:45am EST, which is when I managed to get my card. I had been following the stock for about 2-3 weeks before I got this first notification for BB stock, so it may not happen very often. But when it did, BB's site seemed to have some anti-bot roadblocks in place (thankfully!!!), so I had a shot at getting one.
I have a 9700K, and it's plenty fast enough for it. Even my previous 9400F probably would have been fine, honestly. During most gaming, the CPU is only getting like 40% utilized. It only becomes a bottleneck on horribly programmed games (poorly threaded), or cases where you want like 200+ FPS at 1080P.
