“Is anybody else having issues with the remote? Only 3 months and the remote won’t turn on. Changed batteries and still nothing. Trying to find a replacement so that I can turn the device back on and actually use it.”

Yes I had the same problem about the same time frame. Changed the batteries also. I had to unplug the device and waited two minutes and plugged it back in and it works again. If you didn't try this already I would try. I think it's the device not the remote.
