I too only have one arm. There are some games that can be controlled with one hand. On the Rift V1, I could hold the left controller with my residual limb wedged into the loop to play games like Beat Saber. The Rift S flipped the loops to the top so I’d have to figure out another way to hold them, possibly using a sweatband or KT wrap material. Pushing buttons and pulling trigger are going to be problematic. I’m investigating ways to remap buttons to something like an XBox Elite controller, but then you give up using the touch controllers. Hope that helps, amp brother!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I only fly combat sims so i have the joystick foot rudders and throttle quad so that is how i one arm game lol...my left is paralyzed from neck down.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Short answer is sort of, most games require both hands for operation, you could probably get by with some button remapping and perhaps some mods, but by default, it would be very difficult and downright impossible in some programs. To be clear though, there are still quite a few games that can be played one-handed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.By default I would say you would have massive issues. there should be a way to modify the setup for accessiility, I don't think it will be an easy experience, as you'd have to figure out how to control both sticks, two triggers with one hand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do almost all things needed with just the right touch controller. On the PC most games I use a joystick. Not sure what u might be using it for but u can get away with just one touch controller though a little tough
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Many games only really require the use of one Touch controller; however, some may require two (for example, Beat Saber). So, it varies from game to game.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry about your arm but sadly you need to have both controllers to operate it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say you could because from what I have seen most games I've played allow you to set which hand is dominant and the of hand becomes less used(mostly just for movement) although there are a couple games, like contagion, that make the menu a watch on your off hand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm afraid the answer is mostly no. The vast majority of games require both controllers. You could still use some of its functionality as a display, I suppose. I would look into the Oculus Go. Its apps use a one-handed remote.
