- Answer No. They are the same. The only difference between office editions is the software you receive. Home and Student does not contain outlook and maybe missing a few other programs. To clarify, word and excel are exactly the same across all version of office of the same year.

- Answer This is tricky sometimes. You need to log into your Microsoft account/Microsoft Locker and register your version with the key on the package. The next few screens may say that key has already been used - and eventually it will give you a completely different key code to use. Seems odd but that is what happened to me.

- Answer Office Home & Student 2019 is a one-time purchase, so you will not have to renew it. Please be advised that with this purchase there are no update options, so if you plan to upgrade to the next major release, you'll have to buy it at full price.
