“With voice activation activated I imagine it keeps recording until the voices are no long active? Then does it just stay paused until it picks up voices again? Does it stop and start on its own is what I am asking. Thanks.”

Yes, however If it does not detect sound for more than 1 Hr it will end the recording and shutdown
