QuestionI bought this laptop today and trying to play rocket league and overwatch but it having sudden fps drop can anyone help what is the issue

- Answer try changing the power profile to performance mode. Also turn off HP coolsense. To get every more performance you can unpark cores. Just google unpark CPU cores. Core 1 and 2 is always parked for the OS when playing games and are only used when absolutely needed. Unparking them causes the game to get the priority of the cores.

- Answer The panel is a CMN1738 so it covers around 60% ARGB. Not a great panel for photo editing, but for everyday use and games its decent.

QuestionSo I tried to run final fantasy 14 with a Samsung 24 inch curved monitor with same refresh rate and same resolution but I get lag on the monitor and not the laptop monitor , I also have the screen only displaying on that one external monitor? What gives?

QuestionI know that this laptop has 2 RAM slots, and is supposed to be able to support up to 64GB of RAM, but what speeds are supported? It is manufactured with two sticks, 4GB and 8GB of 2133, but I want to know what other speeds are supported - 2666/3000/3200?

QuestionI know this machine has a M.2 slot but I want to make sure a Samsung Evo 970 500GB will work. I read some info online and in the HP website but I cannot find a definite answer. I know people have installed the Evo 960 so I think the 970 will work as well.

- Answer The game I play runs at ultra high quality and has no lag at all so my answer is yes. Very nice keyboard for gaming and the 3 fans help out tremendously!

- Answer Hello and thank you for your question! You should be able to run this computer on full epic settings and achieve a solid 60 FPS, higher if you play with the settings. I have a very similar model and I never drop below 60 unless I am looking towards tilted with a lot of player building, then it may drop for a split moment to something like 52 and resume 60. It runs beautifully and Orange Justice never looked so good!

- Answer Looks like a thunderbolt to me. lol. it has a thunder bolt logo. another place claims it is usb-c3 which I'm pretty sure is thunderbolt. i hook my galaxy note 8 up to it to get internet access while away from home and its actually pretty quick for 4g speeds. i haven't tried external gpu but you prob wont need it unless your wanting 120fps ultra everything. the screen is only 60hz. i run all games at 60fps on high to ultra. quake champions runs 100+ on medium settings. only game i run over 60 due to some of the input being tied to fps.

- Answer you will probably get a code and need to download it. if you get this laptop go straight to hp website and update bios if the hp support app does not update bios for you. update amd drivers from hp website as well and DO NOT use amd website, amd website will treat it like a desktop and you will have issues. get all your updates from hp.
