no, unfortunately several HP omens ive tested have this issue. just leave at 4 it should be enough, in reality you don't need 1ms response time, its just marketing thing since if you enable the fastest setting you'l get lag and ghosting

It is an overclocked TN panel and testers in forums are finding results similar to yours. It performs best on (5) and you will just have to deal with a little motion blur if you don't want artifacts. Also, I've heard it performs better with AMD graphics cards but still has minor blur issues.
