“I believe there is a display port to vga adapter available. I'm assuming this would work on my desktop vga port. Would there be limitations on the display.”

• Don’t bother. I got three, one didn’t work when it came, the other worked for 1 day, and the last one worked for a week. Just use HDMI or get DisplayPort
