QuestionI'm buying this monitor soon for gaming but not for PC Gaming. I am using it for my Xbox One S and was wondering will 144Hz work with the Xbox with a normal HDMI Cable.

- Answer This monitor supports up to 144 Hz refresh rate. How many frames you can generate, is dependent upon your device...(i.e Xbox One, PC, etc). While PCs are not limited by frame caps by default, frame rate will vary from PC to PC depending on hardware. On the other hand, Xbox One/PS4 use a frame rate locked at 60 frames per second. After the May 2018 update, Xbox One S and Xbox One X are able to output media at 120 frames per second.

- Answer Yes it can. HOWEVER, i would not recommend it because the mentioned consoled cannot play at 144 frames per second so the 144 hz is a waste

- Answer Not really. If you are experiencing frame skips, it is probably your GPU and not the monitor. This monitor will allow high powered PC users to display more frames per second, making the game look smoother. However if your computer is underpowered, frame skips will still occur. A monitor is just a tool to display an image or video, it is dependent on your computer to send the information to display. While this monitor can display 144 Frames of information per second, making games run very smooth, it requires your computer to be able to do the calculations to push that information to monitors.

- Answer Use the freesync option, it will fix latency issues and allow for a smoother picture.

- Answer The monitor just comes as a standard monitor. It being a peripheral, it doesnt have an OS so to speak. The HP Omen desktop tower and laptops come with windows 10

QuestionHey, I don't know if this is completely a monitor issue but I got this yesterday for my new pc and once it was setup and everything whenever I try to play a game the monitor sorta glitches, like while im playing it just freezes randomly. Plis help ASAP

- Answer Not sure if this helps, but there are some software issues with using a lower grade cable. Maybe check the signal capabilities of that.

- Answer It can work I believe but your game will only be displaying up to max 60fps so you won't be getting the full benefit of a 144hz monitor.
