“Does using the app require providing personal information to Omron and agreeing to accept marketing messages?”

• I've never agreed to Privacy Policy of the official Omron app. They do use your personal info and you have to agree with that. Also, the app is free for 30 days only, the you have to pay for a "premium" subscription. I use Samsung Health app, and monitor my blood pressure automatically after I paired S Health app on my smartphone with my BP7000 monitor.

• yes. The app is crap to start with. Then they log your input for what reason? Just don't do it

• I have not gotten any emails or messages from Omron.

• You are not required to agree to receiving marketing from OMRON, however, the app does require some personal information such as first and last name, date of birth, height, and sex.
