• A smart device is needed. The Evolv wirelessly connects via Bluetooth to the OMRON Connect app on your smart device (visit OmronHealthcare.com/connect for compatibility), to track and store your readings over time.

• They only give you the option of using their app. There might be a way but they don't provide any information on this. I declined to use their app because I choose not to give this data away; I just tap the info into my own iphone health app.

• Not to my knowledge. It needs to connect to Omron Connet app on your smart device for you to view blood pressure recordings. There is no other way to view them. There are only two buttons, one Start/Stop and other for image transfer. There is no other button to view recordings on the screen of the device.
