You can use it on either arm. Left arm is easier to use for right-handed persons.

In fact, many sites did say to use the left arm if you are right-handed. But some said, in agreement with what I first said, that the readings should be about the same in the two arms. But - and this sounds important - some sites said that large pressure differences between arms could indicate circulatory problems. So, TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR IF YOU WANT REAL MEDICAL ADVICE - I am not a doctor!
