QuestionJust purchased this phone, it doesn't work with Sprint/T Mobile (only the 8t+ works, this one doesn't) also doesn't work with ATT, as i was planning on switching to them soon from Sprint. Their system doesn't work with any One Plus phones..bestbuy??wth

- Answer Call customer service and have your phone replaced. It might be faulty. Mine works with T-Mobile and AT&T - both GSM. I don't think it works with Sprint since they use CDMA network.

QuestionDoes OnePlus integrate their own apps into the operating system (ala Samsung)? Can they be uninstalled?

- Answer Hi, Yes it has apps like : file manager, community, weather and open plus switch. This last you can uninstall. Rest I think is not able to be removed. To sum up, you receive some but not too many like in Samsung.

- Answer No. This is different from the OnePlus 8T+ that T-Mobile / Sprint sells in a minimal way, but Sprint DOES NOT allow the OnePlus 8T to be activated even if it is unlocked. You MIGHT be able to get it whitelisted if you can reach a human customer support representative, but most will just check your MEID or IMEI and say it's not possible - that's IF you can get around sprint's automated system that keeps volleying you everywhere except to a human.

- Answer The phone does NOT have an option to install additional storage via a Micro SD card. The SIM tray supports dual SIM's if you need that feature for international travel.

- Answer Open the phone dialer and enter *#06# it shows the IMEI's for the phone and that is all you need for compability check! This phone is a dual sim phone! There are 2 IMEI's on this model!

- Answer I believe that TracFone is the Parent Company of Straight Talk. I have had 3 OnePlus phones that have double sim card availability. I use Straight talk exclusively and am able to have TWO SEPARATE phone lines with TWO SEPARATE answering systems in one phone.

- Answer The camera is pretty good! It's a SONY camera chip, so the face detection is pretty good. The resolution is also pretty good! I'm a professional photographer, and this was one of the reasons that I got it, in particular for the 4K video capability. It's a step down from the current SONY and Apple phone cameras, but it is a very close second! For the money, it's a great deal!

- Answer Will not work on any 5G network besides T-Mobile. Other carriers won't certify it because they don't sell it. Plain and simple. So no Verizon 5G or At&t 5G.

- Answer Can check with your carrier to confirm a phone model will operate on their frequencies. There are country specific subvariants of phone models (different countries use different frequencies). This 8T "Global" model does operate on Verizon 4G LTE bands n2, n4, n5, n13, n66, and 5G bands n2, n5, n66 This 8T model supports visual voice mail. Check your phone plan. If it is bundled with 5G. I think your service is determined on the carrier side. The sim card just identifies you/phone as active subscriber.

- Answer Your SIM tray looks different than mine. If you can't modify one side of your tray to accept a SIM card (I didn't have to) then your tray won't allow your phone to use two SIM cards. Might have to go back to BestBuy and see if geek squad can help

- Answer I do not believe this 8T Global model will support Brazil 5G frequency bands (n40, n78, n258). The India and Chinese model version does support 5G band n78. https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/BR/oneplus-8t This global model will operate on Brazil 4G LTE bands n3, n7

- Answer Yes, this 8T "global" model is unlocked, and operates on Verizon 4g and 5g frequency bands. There are 8T model variants. Check the networking specs for a different model. Some phones are carrier locked.
