• The two sub outputs are internally connected together and are setup for a one room configuration to support the other speakers in the main zone.

• That is for 2 subs in one room. Zone 2 is 2 channel only - no sub.

• Second output is for zone 2 subwoofer.

• It is for dual subs I currently have 2 10 inch powered subs working with this unit and I love it!
