You should be able to continue to do so. Most product brands have the same/similar remote codes so you should be able to program it to work. I don't know since I don't have an Onkyo CD player and I also use a Harmony remote to combine all my electronics. Also, as long as your speakers and sub is rated to the output of the receiver you should be just fine as long as the speaker wire connectors are standard size.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes to both.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably, and yes. Your CD player is probably being controlled be the Onkyo universal remote. It is not truly linked. Your existing speakers will continue to work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you should have no problems using your existing speakers with this receiver. As long as the speakers are rated from 6 to 16ohms you will have no issues. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure about linking them together but as far as using your existing speakers I would think so...not knowing what you are driving it's hard for me to comment ..I am driving Definitive Technology Mythos series towers, d/f center Chanel, 2 Boston Accoustic rear speakers and a stout B/W sub with no issues
