“So I now have picture but no sound. Have my ARC enabled and my CEC turned on Had to go back and change connection back to my internal speakers and rerun HDMI from satellite box to ARC in TV to get sound/pic. Receiver is a month old, can't get it to work”

Change the audio source connection from the satellite box , I have all of my 7 devices playing with no issues once configured correctly
