• That is correct. The receiver only has seven amplifiers. In a 7.1 setting all seven amplifiers are used in the main listening room and zone2 is not available. If the main listening room is 5.1 then there are two amplifiers not used in the main listening room. These two amplifiers are then available for zone2.
