• It is only capable of setting up as 5.2.2 (which is what with two ceiling speakers) or 7.2 . I read on some blogs that you can set up a 5.2.4 using the phono jack and a separate amplifier but that is beyond my knowledge base to know how to do that. ...but the simple answer to your question is that it can go from 7.2 to 5.2.2.

• This receiver is capable of 7.2.2. I have mine set up now as 7.1.2 but there is still an unused sub-woofer jack in the back.
