• Yes, the TX-8160, like it's "sister" receiver the Pioneer Elite SX-N30 does stream SiriusXM. Either is a fine 2.1 channel receiver and will serve you well. On my SX-N30 and my Onkyo TX-NR818 I stream SiriusXM, Pandora 1, Slacker and a bazillion internet stations. You will not be disappointed with this Onkyo!

• Yes I stream Sirius radio all the time. It is easier to use the smart phone app to change stations.
