“I have a speakers with a "Passive Subwoofer" from a previous system. Can I use the Onkyo TX-SR373 to connect my Subwoofer in any way, or do I have to purchase a powered subwoofer?”

• You can connect it but you won't get much - if anything - out of it. Receivers are generally designed to be used with powered subwoofers. Spend the money, you won't regret it.

• You will have to purchase a new powered sub to connect to this unit. The old passive sub will not work with this A/V unit.

• You need a powered subwoofer. They're pretty cheap. RCA connection
