QuestionI was debating between this one and the Sony STRDH770. Are all HDMI ports HDCP 2.2 on the Onkyo? I bought both but waiting for the Sony to deliver next week. I picked up the Onkyo today and will install after work later.

- Answer Geek Squad had me upgrade to a Denon, because the Onkyo wouldn’t power cycle with my URC. Dude said something about a macro function. Not sure if I answered your question or not, but apparently this model is whack.

QuestionWhat type/kind of plug do I use for the sub out? I connected a rca cable with strip wire at the end to connect to my existing subwoofers (Sony and RCA) and both not getting any output. I dont want to buy another sub with RCA jack in it just to test.

- Answer RCA connects to RCA...stripped wires go to speaker terminals or binding posts, either one or the other, not combined. If your receiver does not have rca out for the sub, use the record-out. If the sub does not have rca plugs, connect the input wires parallel to your front speakers.

QuestionHi I just bought this Onkyo receiver and it works great! However when I hook my pre amp up to it for some reason it is not linking to it. I cannot adjust the volume through the receiver. Only through the pre amp. Some kind of setting?

QuestionI have a LG 4K uhd tv, a LG 4k blu ray player, a PS4, and an Onkyo TX-SR373 receiver. My PS4 comes thru as HDR on the TV as well as the receiver. My Blu ray player comes thru as HDR on the TV but the sound is not HDR, (loud) like the PS4.

QuestionI'm having a problem when playing netflix through my Xbox One where it doesn't play 5.1 audio. My receiver will play 5.1 for Disney + and Amazon Video but not Netflix. The Output from Xbox is Doby Digital Audio. Any ideas as to what the problem might be?
