- Answer I don't know why this person said it doesnt accept banana plugs...it definitely does. I just set mine up with banana plugs with no issue. The only exception is for the subwoofer...I don't believe there's a banana plug for that one.

QuestionI want to upgrade TX-NR609. Will this be equivalent? I already have a 4k/60hz HDR10 ready TV for use with Xbox1X. Manual does not state Audyssey Dynamic EQ: Li,Me,He which I am use to. Has this changed to Late Night? Using optical in as bypass for 5.1

- Answer I will answer myself. No BMan this will not be good replacement for you. Don't waste your time. Go with a Denon S650H 2019 model.

QuestionDoes this receiver include an app like Pioneers iControl but that actually works consistently and has Pioneer support if and when needed? iControl AV5 is a wonderful and valuable app, when i works which is why I ask.

- Answer This is an Onkyo receiver and it has an excellent app, but I doubt it supports Pioneer products. It is a beautiful and intuitive app, the best I've ever seen.

QuestionWill this unit automatically switch between sources? Say I have 3 devices hooked to hdmi. If I’m playing something on hdm1 and I pause it, and then play a different device on hdmi 3 will it automatically switch to hmdi 3 or do I have to switch with remote

- Answer I have a Logitech harmony 1100 remote> switch between My Play station, my DVD, CD Player, and the TV. I put the rest of my remotes away. not sure I can go from my TV to Play station By just touching the icon on the remote

QuestionDoes this unit allow analog video to pass through the HDMI output? It appears to have RCA style video in as well as component in but no output for video except HDMI so I'm thinking yes. I have a couple of analog sources I still use and want to integrate.
