yes, that should work The HDMI feed has both video and sound on it. The receiver grabs the sound to send out of it's speakers, but pretty sure both video and sound are passed to the receiver output to the TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will. There's a setting specifically for that. It's a little tricky to navigate through the onscreen menu on the TV. But make sure your receiver is on and you'll see the menu for your onkyo reciever. It's a great unit!
