Yes, that won't be a problem, although some subwoofers will give you a little more punch than others. There's also a button on the front of the unit called the "music optimizer" that's a neat feature, if you're playing music. It acts like a equalizer and really gives your music or movies a nice full sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That depends upon the subwoofer itself. Make sure it is a powered one and a good cable to connect it to the receiver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Subwoofers are generally a pre-amp "line-out" connection and powered by their own amp rather than the amp in the receiver, so the sound of your subwoofer depends on the quality and power of the amp in your subwoofer. My 10" Polk sub sounds great with this receiver. If you have large left and right speakers, it can also "double bass" to output it to both the large mains and the subwoofer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES,CONNECT AN ACTIVE SUBWOOFER IN THE SUBWOOFER CONNECTION IN THE REAR.SETTING THIS RECEIVER FOR OPTIMAL SOUND TAKES SOME TIME BUT THE RESULTS ARE WORTHY.
