Yes, you can listen to zone 2 while using 7.2 speakers (movie,tv)if you have a device (turntable, cd) plug into the zone 2 imput

Please try again later.If you hook your zone two speakers directly at the speaker wires then and playing your zone two speakers your back surround speakers will no longer play .if you hook your Zone 2 speakers up to a separate amp and hook to your receiver through the pre outs then it will not have an effect on your back surround speakers

I suggest you switch make B your A main speakers and B you r music speakers I’ve found this configuration works best and is less confusing for the rest of the family
