I would not reconmend connecting these wires without knowledge of the system. The TX-NR676 is designed to drive a 5.2 or 7.2 speaker system. There should be 5 pairs of wires for 5.2 speaker system. 7 pairs of wires for 7.2 speaker system. Plus 1 additional pair if using zone 2 speakers. The picture looks to be a volume control circuit for remote speakers.
