“who makes the chipset in this adapter I am looking for one that does not have a Realtek chipset. I have a new computer with a Realtek network adapter in it and the drivers for it totally suck. HP and Realtek do not seem to care that there is an issue with it. I have waded through 10 pages of complaints and possible fixes and still have the same disconnect and no available networks issues over and over again to the point that I am resorting to using my old laptop almost exclusively. I have to reboot over and over and over and then may get online just long enough to maybe sign in to my email or whatever. Warranty does not cover driver issues and they do not consider this a hardware failure. Please advise.”
