Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This chopper can chop the chilies. Whether you put one in the bowl or fill the bowl. But, I have found it takes practice using this "device." It spins the blade at a very high rate, and you can go from chop, to super fine, to "mush" in the blink of an eye. You must pay attention to what you are doing, and practice "tapping" the red button. Practice by filling the container with water, half way. Watch how the water "spins," and equate the motion to how you have tapped the button. Have fun........................... Then clean it out, and chop your chilies.............................
